2 year MRI
« on: November 20, 2012, 12:31:26 pm »
Hi To All,

To all of you wonderful AN friends, I am so happy to report that my 2nd year post operative MRI came back, and it's clean !!!  Doctors say come back in a year.  I want to thank everyone for all the support you showed as I struggled through a very difficult 18 months.  It's really hard to believe that it took me 18 months to really start to feel like me again.  I'm now 2 years post op, and I look forward to continued improvement.  This community shows so much care, I couldn't have faced all those difficult days without keeping your words of encouragement in my mind.  Now if we can fix the damn Tinnitus because it's really killing me.

God Bless you all,

Bob

Congrats Bob,

That is truly good news about MRI,, mine was clear at one year and am very grateful indeed ! If I remember,, we have exact "anniversary " dates,,,Oct 27,,, hard to believe sometimes how quickly
 Time does go by,,

Best of luck in the future,, sorry no solutions to the tinnitus issue,,,I think I would be a millionaire if I can just think of an answer for it,,, :D
Happy holidays to all Jane

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Great to hear that your MRI went well.  I will be having mine after the 1st of the year.  Also, glad to hear that you are feeling more normal.  I am almost one year post-op and have had a little more wonkiness than usual lately.  I am sure it is a minor setback, but I do notice it.  So good to know you are much better.
