MRI image attached. Thoughts??
« on: March 20, 2013, 04:02:17 pm »
MRI from today.  I'm going to try to post my image below... Does anyone see anything? I've searched google images, but I don't see anything clear cut on mine.  Of course, this is 1 image out of hundreds...

It's not posting for some reason - here is the link:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/94300053@N08/

Thanks in advance.

I don't think that's the right image- I had to scan through hundreds before I saw mine & then it was very obvious...

There are tons of images, but I don't see anything blatantly obvious.
Thank you for taking a look!

You're on the right track but you might have to click through several images before and after the one you posted.

Here are several examples of a top down view showing ANs of various sizes starting with a small one that's about the size of mine. The first image has an arrow pointing to the AN so you'll know where to look.

The slice in your image is almost identical to the slices I posted.

If you don't find at least a little white bean in the spot shown in the images it's possible that you might not have one and something else might be causing your symptoms. Confer with your doctor.

Thanks Arizona! I'll upload some more pics tonight.
I appreciate the links of the AN images. I don't think I see anything like that on mine.

My two cents worth.  We are not doctors and we should not try to diagnose someone  :)

That said, make sure you have your doctor look at your images and give you his/her opinion.

Left AN 3.0 cm (1.5 cm @ diagnosis 6 wks prior) SSD. BAHA implant 3/4/08 (Dr. Battista) Divino 6/4/08  BP100 4/2010 BAHA 5 8/2015

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Where do you see anybody diagnosing anybody?

Jack ~

I assume that Jan means non-physicians looking at MRI photos and being asked if they 'see anything' is risky.  I agree.  We should decline the invitation and refer the person to their doctor.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
