2 months post op and stroke
« on: September 23, 2015, 09:58:32 am »
I had surgery in mid july stroke the next day.  Had to go on the ventilator and then a trache. Trache is out 3 weeks now. Hard to talk or eat. Balance is messed up. Left side weakness and coordination issues. Had my shunt put in in June. Look like Frankenstien's monster.

Hi. I went through a similar nightmare scenario almost 4 years ago. Two months after surgery, I was still in the hospital.  I still have balance and coordination issues, though they've definitely improved.

It's a tough, but not impossible, road ahead. Feel free to PM me. I wish you the best.
