« on: May 03, 2016, 06:10:08 am »

I just got off cochlear's web site, the BAHA 5 Power And BAHA 5 Super Power have been released. They will allow 55db and 65db sound levels respecfully.
Left SSD 5 days post flu vac. Severe vertigo x 3 weeks. Left ear AN found on MRI 11/5/14 6mm x 4mm watch and wait. 22 hyperbaric O2 tx, no change. BAHA5 Attract 4/17/15 changed to post 12/15/15 2.5 year  MRI shows no change.

The BAHA5 was released by Cochlear about a year ago - which was when I upgraded.  It's phenomenal.  It replaced the BP100.

As Necromancer said, Cochlear recently released the BAHA5 Power and the BAHA5 Super Power.  They are stronger models than the BAHA5, which is typically for those who have "normal" hearing in their "good" ear.  The Power and the Super Power would be comparable to upgrades for the old Cochlear Intenso - generally worn by those who have diminished hearing in their "good" ear.

Your level of hearing determines which Cochlear BAHA would work best for you.

Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)
Left AN 3.0 cm (1.5 cm @ diagnosis 6 wks prior) SSD. BAHA implant 3/4/08 (Dr. Battista) Divino 6/4/08  BP100 4/2010 BAHA 5 8/2015

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways
