Staind - So Far Away... the PERFECT AN song
« on: November 21, 2006, 10:26:47 am »
This is my life
Its not what it was before

All these feelings I’ve shared
And these are my dreams
That I’d never lived before
Somebody shake me
Cause I, I must be sleeping

Chorus:
Now that we're here,
It's so far away
All the struggle we thought was in vain
All the mistakes,
One life contained
They all finally start to go away
Now that we're here its so far away
And I feel like I can face the day
I can forgive and I’m not ashamed to be the person that I am today

These are my words
That I’ve never said before
I think I’m doing ok
And this is the smile
That I’ve never shown before

Somebody shake me
Cause I, I must be sleeping

(chorus)

I'm so afraid of waking
Please don't shake me
Afraid of waking
Please don't shake me

Taylor,

As we become adults, we get respect from those "who count" by what we are and what we have become, from within.  You surely have *won* my respect.  I'm a poet and an artist.  (as well as a medical person, myself)  You will age and grow.....you already have and the fruits of your labor will be appreciated.  You will be and are now more of a worthy person than you were before.  You will attract more people worth knowing from what you have become.

Hi Taylor - beautiful lyrics, did you write them??

Hang in there girlfriend, I think this is one of the "rocky" part of our life's path, it's tougher, but once thru it - WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

to Life, Nancy

PS:  I believe in positive thinking - while having acupuncture, (facial paralysis, facial nerve severed)  I visualize a light pink light enveloping my facial nerves, I visualize a symmetrical face.   Taylor, there is truth to positive thinking.  Keep the faith

PSS:  If you google facial reanimation dr. michael sachs, go to before and after photos for facial reanimation - I'm thinking if nothing happens in a year or 2 after the hypoglossal anastamosis, i'd like to go to him.  the pictures are awesome.  I asked a friend of mine (neurologist) if he thought they were real & he did.  nancy

NOT,
SOUNDGARDEN Better..Burden in my Hand

Written by chris cornell (for the noobs-the singer of the new 007 theme)

Follow me into the desert
As thirsty as you are
Crack a smile and cut your mouth
And drown in alcohol
cause down below the truth is lying
Beneath the riverbed
So quench yourself and drink the water
That flows below her head

Oh no there she goes
Out in the sunshine the sun is mine

I shot my love today would you cry for me
I lost my head again would you lie for me
I left her in the sand just a burden in my hand
I lost my head again would you cry for me
(hearing) :-\

Close your eyes and bow your head
I need a little sympathy
cause fear is strong and loves for everyone
Who isnt me
So kill your health and kill yourself
And kill everything you love
And if you live you can fall to pieces
And suffer with my ghost
Just a burden in my hand
Just an anchor on my heart
Just a tumor in my head
And Im in the dark

So follow me into the desert
As desperate as you are
Where the moon is glued to a picture of heaven
And all the little pigs have god
