Head trauma AFTER Translab
« on: December 02, 2024, 11:37:40 pm »
After translab, has anyone had any head trauma? If so, was everything alright?

Being goofy, my 13-year-old son sprung up to give me a good-night kiss. His skull struck my jaw so forcefully that, four days later, my entire right jaw still aches, and yawning hurts. I've been experiencing intermittent pain on the right side of my head.  It wasn't the worst agony I've ever had, but it was strong enough to keep me up a few nights ago and keep me from sleeping soundly.  The strangest thing is that for a few days now, my mouth has tasted salty. Just making sure there's nothing to worry about, even though I'm confident things will improve in time.

For what it's worth, I think if I were you that I would call your surgeon's office and ask to see someone. Ask the medical experts, just to be safe. -
