Infornational Only:

I am informed that Dr. Perer Black, Chief of Neurosurgery @ Brigham & Womens Hospital, is on a 6-month sabbatical, as of 10/1/07.  his flock is being re-assigned, as it were, to other specialists.

Thanks Bigbear - I had heard he was already "slowing down" and not doing as many surgery cases - giving them to his "flock" as you say.  We got to meet him in May for a consult - very personable and humble for such a great man.

9th cranial nerve schwannoma - like an acoustic neuroma on another nerve. Have recently been told it could be acoustic neuroma. Only 7 mm of growth in 18 years. With no symptoms. Continuing W&W
