Update time with the best news!!!   I just got off the phone with Cheryl's husband and there's a chance that Cheryl will be released from the hospital as early as tomorrow.  Cheryl has had a really good outcome.  No facial paralysis and her hearing is at, or near pre surgery levels.  One Doctor mentioned holding off on the C implant, instead  of doing it in the near future.  She had a few rough spots, but Mark said that there is really noticeable improvement from yesterday and more improvement from this morning to this evening and expects more improvement tomorrow!!   All in all super news.

Probably all on us on the forum are doing the "happy dance"  in our pirate socks of course!!!
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Hey All

Yep, a total wreck - that about sums it up.  And, just because I wasn't stressed enough already, I woke up this morning with a stuffed up head and sore throat.  My PCP got me in right away and gave me some stuff to de-stuff me.  I feel like a total hypochondriac right now - every little thing spooks me.

I'm going to have my hubby post after surgery so that everyone will be updated.  And, Melissa, I'll be thinking of you, right behind me!

Talked to Hope this morning - she is 3 weeks post today and sounds really good!

Great news on Cheryl!

And Debbi, before you know it, you'll be waking up in ICU after a successful surgery saying "Whaaa happened?"  Think back on how long ago it seemed that you were trying to get this thing scheduled -- and I went through a bottle of white-out.  This next week will fly by.
