3 years....
« on: August 21, 2008, 11:00:32 am »

I just got back from a lunch run ... and while looking in the rear view mirror ... I tried to force a good smile ... (I do this once in a while to see if there is improvement) ... and all of a sudden my check muscles tighten up -- I look again and my smile is kind of pulled up ... it about 20 second later it relaxes... once I'm home I look in the bathroom mirror and make a show my teeth smile ... and I see more teeth!! Improvement !!! .. 3 years !!! its been a long time -- but as long as there is improvement - that's enough to keep the spirits up!!   ;D  ;D

Joe,
Congratulations on the imporvement. 3 years, sheesh, it makes you wonder what takes so freaking long.  But it's good to know that it does improve with time.

Kudos - and may your smile grow ever wider and symmetrical with the passage of time.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Brenda, Wendy and Satman,
You are all awake way too early. (Or you stayed up all night.)  Of course I'm up too; is it an AN thing?
