Actually I was under the impression ties were in order... :-\

By all means wear one then. :)

I thought Phyl said "Business Formal"  and Cheryl who has been to many of these said that Saturday night is pretty dressy...

K

Business casual by day (avoid shorts/sneakers) and dressy for Sat night.......  :)

A tie might look rather weird with my dress- don't you think?  :D

Personally when I attempt to knit a square it always looks like a triangle when I am done... and my hat is off to those who can knit.

Here is a pattern for you just in case you are in a pickle- at the Drake

If I am going to be roped into wearing a tie, I think I will just bring one. I just checked my jacket, and it still has a wedding invitation in the pocket from 2003, which must be the last time I wore it. It still fits, though, as long as I don't try to button it up. :)

Steve, all my husbands will be wearing is a dressy shirt and khakis for Sat.          Men get by looking dressed up!            A suit is enough for weddings or funerals for alot of men and we live in a ruralish so men get by with less tie wear.                        Cheryl R

At the Dillard's here they have the coolest zip up pre-knotted neckties. The part that goes around the neck is a zipper so that you just zip it up to where the knot is comfortable. Unlike a clip-on they can be worn loosened. I'm watching for a sale to get one for my son.

I didn't even catch the multiple husbands, just found it noteworthy that Cheryl thought we'd be interested that nothing comes between him and his khakis . . .

Multiple husbands?? How do get that!!!! I have trouble cleaning up after just one.

Ha! Ha!

Ok since I am attending this shindig against my doc's advice and will be recieving a spanking when I see him next, I have taken Daisy-Maisy and Phyll's advice and contacted the airline about wheelchair service to the baggage claim/taxi area.  I will probably be medicated  so it will keep me from getting lost as well.  GAWD I feel old!!!!!

I am so excited about meeting everyone!!!!!  Last symposium there were quite a few forumites but nothing like this time!!!!

Am really looking forward to seeing Cheryl R's additional husbands.  The one she brought last time was pretty cute!!
