And Jan, if you just leave your clothes at home, you'll know right where they are!   ;)

Thanks for the birthday advice, Captain.  Maybe I'll check out the grog and be anesthestized on my birthday afterall  :D

Sail on, Lori - I'll be listening to Jimmy in your honor on 9/26  ;D

If you have it, include "Oysters & Pearls" - one of my favorites.  I like to think of my docs as pearls  :)

Jan
Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)
Left AN 3.0 cm (1.5 cm @ diagnosis 6 wks prior) SSD. BAHA implant 3/4/08 (Dr. Battista) Divino 6/4/08  BP100 4/2010 BAHA 5 8/2015

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Before you know it, it will be over and in just a few months you'll be hearing almost as well as you used to, if somewhat differently.,

Actually, I haven't heard well at all in at least a decade, so I'm looking forward to major improvement!  Thanks again for all the well wishes.  I'll keep ya posted.

Tammy

Don't know how I missed this all week?!?

Anyway, think I did already wish you well, Lori, on your "jump" surgery, but I wish you well again!

Tammy, how exciting to be getting the BAHA!  Hope it's as easy as everyone says!

Lisa - will certainly be thinking of you on Friday and looking for updates on your surgery.  Best wishes that everything goes smoothly and well!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, Jan!!!  Just had one myself recently - are you a fellow Virgo, or does it change to the next sign this week?

Take care all,

Cindy

Happy belated birthday, Cindy.  And I'd like to add that it's great to see everyone posting pictures.  It makes things so much more personal.  Now Cindy, would you go over to the ANA office and check to see where the ANA Newsletter delivery bottleneck is?

David, I'll run right over to the AN office...as soon as I can find any gas to put in my car!  All our gas pumps are EMPTY.  We are learning some sort of lesson down here, maybe many lessons.  But, that's another topic!  I should actually just walk over to the AN office - I'm training for the 3-Day Walk again and that would be a nice change of scenery from my neighborhood that we have been walking round and round in :D

Have a great day all!

Maybe lack of gas is the culprit here - the ANA can't find enough gas to get the newsletters to their local post office - so many of us are still waiting  ???

I agree with David - lots of new pictures; makes me happy to see who I'm "talking" to  ;)

Ah, I think Nashville must be taking its gas from you Northerners - we've finally got a few gas stations that actually have gas!  I might actually be able to leave town today without fear of having to push my car back home!

Lucky you, Lori.  Still none here!  It's the stranges sight to see these gas stations ghostly quiet...

I'm beginning to fear I may not be able to get to the store for my Coke supply...maybe a bit of milk for my son, too...

Cindy!  Let me get this straight.  No more Coke for a Southerner?  How can you survive?  I'm stocking up for you post-surgery.  Even if I have to sneak it to you.  Forget the ice chips.  You get the real stuff.
