To the hospital we go!
« on: January 12, 2009, 06:03:57 am »
Good Morning to All!

Today we leave for Cincinnati - surgery is tomorrow (1/13/09) at 7:30 a.m.  I"m as prepared as I possibly can be, thanks to my families (both relatives and ANA!).  Although I haven't been sleeping much, I am so ready to get this done.  My wonderful daughter will be posting to give you updates, but I'm hoping to be online soon for a message or two.  My new friend Jill is scheduled for surgery one week after mine in the same hospital with the same fabulous surgeons!

Looking forward to being a postie and thanks again, for all of your support and encouragement over the last two months.

Kathy

Kathy:

I apologize for my tardiness and join the tail-end of a very long line of fellow ANers wishing you all the best with your surgery tomorrow.  May everything go well in the OR and a rapid recovery follow.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
