No 3-D or stereo sound at this show
« on: February 03, 2009, 02:31:56 pm »
I went to a super bowl party over the weekend. When the 3-D glasses came out, I had to politely decline my pair. You see, I have never been able to enjoy 3-D movies due to a condition of the eyes called ambliopia (aka lazy eye). Not only do I lack 3-D vision, but I can't hear in stereo, either. What a basket case. Can't help but laugh.

I do see in color and am bilingual. Does that make up for it?

Absolutely!  You're far from a 'basket case'.   I encourage realizing what you can do as well as acknowledging what you cannot.  Don't ever lose your perspective - and your sense of humor, Syl.

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Wow! It's much easier to decipher the spoken word than the written! You guys are really uentflay (or is it luentfay?).

And Syl, for what it's worth, I thought the 3-D effects weren't all they were hyped-up to be.  :)
