looking for a book on acoustic neuroma and stress management
« on: March 19, 2009, 06:55:46 pm »
A couple years ago whenever I did google searches related to AN, a book kept coming up on stress mangement for AN.  The author was a AN survivor, and I think she was either a journalist or a yoga teacher, or maybe both. It was even endorsed by Bernie Siegel, author of Love, Medicine and Miracles.
Recently it no longer shows up on google. I tried Amazon, and I tried emailing Bernie Siegel. He said he has no idea, because he endorses a lot of books and can't remember a lot of them.
I wanted to contact the author about a possible joint project. Has anyone ever heard of this book, or know anything about it? Hopefully it wasn't just a figment of my imagination.  :D

Is this it? It is endorsed by both Bernie Siegel and Ginny Fickel, Director of Acoustic Neuroma Association

Sara,
Thanks! I don't remember now if that was the book I was looking for , because it seems the one I had seen in the past was coming up under AN searches and was specifically for AN folks. However, this one you posted the link to looks excellent!
