He sounds like a good one, Captain.  Hold on to him  ;)

Cap'n,
I've been away from this thread havin' a little procedure all mine own and whining about my recovery "issues" which include temporary facial paralysis, eye annoyances, constipation, and a steroid high that had me blastin' out of the canons above and below deck!
Man, do I feel like a big ol' baby now.
Geesh!  You are one tough cookie.  I just want to salute you in person one of these days in the not too distant future.

I, too, love those BVIs, Baths and all.  No place like it.  How 'bout our next convention moored off Cooper Island?

Love you,

It was nice talking to you after the brunch! I'm glad you got to say 'hi' to many there. I hope my hubby qualifies for the Boston marathon again so i can go back! I loved meeting the people there (even though i'm in the dc area - it was nice of the new englanders to allow me to crash their brunch!)
I hope your continue to recover and get better. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Take care,
Keri

Glad you are home and on the mend, Cap't Deb.  When you aren't aboard ship, this here place gets all discombobulated.  Now things can be ship-shape again.

Holy moly, Capt Deb!  I go away to the land of Oz for a week and you go through all kinds of crap that you don't need to be going through.  Good thoughts, many prayers and I'm putting my pirate socks back on although I think I need to find pirate flip flops 'cause the socks are kind of warm here now!!  Anyway, take it easy, let Sadie St john and Dr Luv take care of you, and just concentrate on getting well.
Hugs and love,'

Hi folks,
Home has been great although I'm still having a bit of pain from where the chest tube was, it has gotten lots better.  First day off percoset.  Unfortunately this ordeal ain't over as I talked to the gyno today and scheduled surgery on May 20 to have the other cyst, which is on my left ovary, removed.  I have to decide whether of not to have a hyssterectomy at the same time.  My cousin's husband is a retired gyno and I'll be consulting with him as well.  I'm not having any symptoms from the cyst or fibroids, so the hysterectomy is optional and will be done to prevent any problems down the road.

Thanks again for all your well wishes!
