Hi Joe,

I take it you are driving to Charleston Sunday, before your surgery Monday morning? I got it a little tangled up at first, because I am 3 hours behind you here in Oregon, so it is still Saturday here as I write this.  ???

If that means tomorrow morning is our last chance to wish you well, there may be some who will miss out. I will take the liberty of wishing you the very best on behalf of everyone who doesn't get a chance to.

I know you have already lost some hearing and facial nerve function, and may not get it back. I hope you do, but mainly I hope you come through the surgery well and have a good recovery in the weeks after. If you can get a message through to us by someone at home, that would be great, but that takes second place to recovering from the surgery. We can wait if we have to. Either way, we will be looking forward to your return to the forum soon.

All the best,

Steve

Joe,

Our prayers are with you!  We look forward to your update when you are able, but also understand that it is not always possible to provide updates for the first few days.
