does the cold feeling go away

I know just what you mean. But no one can put a time on how long it will last or if it will go away. Mine cleared up, gradually, and I mean really really slowly. I still have the stiff feeling but not the cold dead feeling and it's been 5 months. Hang in there.

I don't recall coldness, but certainly numbness (along with palsy). I don't recall how long that lasted, maybe 3 months or so?? It recovered so slowly and gradually i was hardly aware. I have some tightness now, which is associated with the nerve recovering and muscles starting to work again.

I was told by the facial therapist to tap my face (both sides, in unison), and massage in circular motion.... maybe this would help you...?.
