tingly on opposite side of AN

Question. I have had a tingly feeling on non AN side right in front of ear like on cheek bone. I dont have this feeling all the time but sometimes it will happen and stay for maybe a half day off and on. This is very disturbing to me. I have had an MRI about 2 weeks ago and it showed nothing. I do get ringing off and on but previous postes shows that ringing is normal. I'm confused and tired of strange symptoms. I would like to hear others imput. Do you have strange happenings?

What, nobody has any strange tingly symptom stories to share? 

I have odd little tingles now and then, sometimes just above the mouth, on the opposite side, like something wanted to go numb, then after a few hours changed its mind. I'm pretty sure that most ANs bring a few little odd sensations along with them. Inside your head, all this stuff is interconnected like crazy, so its not that surprising, really. It sure can be disturbing though.

Thank you Steve for the support. I know this AN thing throws us for a loop sometimes. I wish others would share their experience....strange experiences if they have any.

I have had no strange tingling, but I have had an issue with sensitive teeth on my non-AN side.  It started about 2 months post op and my dentist hasn't been able to pinpoint any cause.  It may have absolutely nothing to do with my AN surgery - it might just be a coincidence.  Other than that, I have had no "strangeness" - at least I'm no stranger than I normally am

Well it is all in your head, of course. 

The question is, is it really in your head, or just in your imagination? When it comes to "benign neoplasm of the brain/nervous system", which is the classification my insurance company has used for my AN, I'm not sure you can draw that line. Either way its a tingle, and it is the nerve itself acting up, not something else going on.

My tingling is inside my head.  I first described it as a wave of water feeling.  Then as a worm crawling through feeling.  Now it feels like flutters.  If any of you have followed some of my posts, after 2 yrs the docs think it COULD be a nerve spasm.

Hey there.
Yeah I've had a tingly sensation on my non-AN side since the day of surgery. But it's from head to toe and i wonder if i'm going to have it for the rest of my life. and the only thing with this tingling is that it's every second 24/7 365 days a year.
It feels like pins-and-needles.
I take Tegretol for it but the medicine doesn't seem to be doing anything.
I took Neurotin before that but it didn't seem to have an effect on me either.
Just remember it could be worse.
