Hi Brian -

Good to hear from you!  I just got up from my afernoon nap (just can't seem to give those up yet) and was happy to see that you've been up and online.  Remember to take it easy - and don't scrimp on the naps!

So Pooter, truthfully, it was like a Mack truck, wasn't it  ???

But don't worry, it's in your rearview mirror now.

Love the Mack truck review mirror analogy.  For all you future posties, this is a good way to look at things.  Ya get hit with a Mack but it's over and done and it's time to move on with things like recovery and life.

We'll keep our fingers crossed for a Mini Cooper for you!  Or is that a Cooper Mini.  Either way...   ;D

I think it's Mini Cooper, but what do I know - I currently drive a really boring van  :(

My children are under the false impression though that I will buying each of them a Corvette for their 16th birthday.  I definitely have to have a long talk with those kids  ::)

I just wondered what Pooter's take was on the Mack truck because when I mentioned it to him pre-surgery, I think he thought I wasn't serious.  Why anyone would think I'm not always serious is beyond me  ;)

Jan?  Not serious?  Who could ever think that!!

But I can't believe you're not going to buy your kids Corvettes!  I mean come on - they're only twins - not quadruplets!   :D

I remember telling my parents I wanted the same thing when I got my license.  Guess what I got?  A "Vette" alright - but it was a Chevette - not a Corvette.
Ah, my Dad.. quite a joker.

But don't feel bad, Jan... I have the really boring van too - after much protest...my husband promised me after all the kids move out I can get a Lambourghini.  I think I should have gotten that in writing because I'll probably end up with another Chevette or something.   :'(

Lori -

writing is the way to go on all promises made by husbands who mean well  :D  I think you missed the boat by not getting him to sign a contract LOL

I have promised myself a green Jaguar before I die - which means I'll potentially have to live to be 105 to realize that goal.  By then the DMV will probably not want to renew my license  :D

Actually when I found out I was pregnant - many years ago - I was hoping for triplets!  Don't know what was on my mind, but I'm glad the good Lord had enough sense to only give me twins.

PS - maybe if we sweet-talk Phyl she'll mention to the powers that be at the ANA that the moderators need a few cars.  Say like a Lamborghini and a Jaguar  ;)

I'll take the Jaguar (XK model) in British Racing Green and the Lamborghini (Gallardo model) in bright red,  thanks.  Oh, and with gas at $4. + per gallon, I'll require an ANA gas credit card with very high spending limits.   :D
