Thanks Laz.  I think.  As long as the rest of the crew doesn't know I'm getting twice as much as they are.  I look at is as a cost of living raise.  Woo Hoo!   ;)

*starts humming, I got plenty of nothin' and nothin's plenty for me...*

Glad you two kids had fun.   :o

Well, we'd have to sail on over to Orlando and see if we could bump off the Pirates of the Caribbean troupe  and take  their place, there by getting some cash from them there tourists. Or offer sunset dinner cruises with us being the cooks and waiters and such.  Hmmmmm.  Hey, Laz, can you cook?  Throw that shrimp on the barbie?  We might have something there.

Raise some more cash eh!

Ok, we be havin' a cake stall - (Laz quickly jumps off the plank before being pushed)

Sue wench, I'm a brilliant cook. I cook already cooked prawns (Its a tough job peelin them little critters). I can boil me an egg, um, lemme see - oh yeah. flick off a twist top off a me VB (beer for the untrained in Aussie cuisine).

Now all ye scallies and wenches battlin the cold and wind and splender, spare a thought fer us down under folk battlin, bright blue sunshine and 30 degrees and trying to decide which beach to go to. Actually, naomi and i are not big beach goers (passed it) don't like getting all that sand up the crevices - now ye scurvy watchdogs - that be quite an innocent comment so ye not be censoring or I'll get the parrot onto ya.

looking forward to a good break over the festive season - just relaxin and doing zippo.

Whats everyone else's plans?

Aww, Laura, sorry about all of that.  Jan 5th I go to the endodontist and he's gonna dig around under a tooth!  And my son goes in for his last check up on his ACL surgery that he had. So guess it's Med Day that day.  Yours sounds the worst, but yet the best because it's possible.  My poor mom went through breast cancer and they didn't have all of that reconstructive stuff back in 1956.

Laz, maybe we won't ask  you to cook, but perhaps be the head waiter or the bouncer or just man the sails and look studly and pose for pictures with the tourists.  Anyway, a bake sale would be fun.  I'd like to make some stuff to sell.  And you don't have to brag about the lovely Australian summer (ooops, no wild fires this year I hope..) because we all know you are basking in the sunshine now.  The northern half of the North American Contintent is currently PRETTY DARN COLD, thank you very much.  Maybe we can hope this is helping the Global Warming thing. Helping to build up them there glaciers and all.

Okay gotta go.  Son and I are going to watch a movie.

And putting my Pirate Socks on for Larry in Australia who is facing Round Two with the dreaded AN.  But I have no doubt that our brave and fearless Scallywag will vanquish the terrible foe once and for all.

And, Laz, you have an army of support that stretches from Australia clear across the Pacific to the North American Continent and then all the way across the Atlantic to the UK and beyond.  We're all in your corner, champ.

Cue the Rocky music, and go get 'em mate.

Avast, it's been raining here in Raleigh for a few days, and the ground is so saturated that the worms are packing up and moving out-- they were all over the sidewalk as I came into work.  Arrrrgh, I'm thinking I should be moving out too.  Hmmm...

Okay, Pirates, listen up!  Oh, excuse me....Avast, me hearties, lend an ear...  or something like that.

Anyhoo, my husband came home tonight and told me that his bosses (he has two) are giving him (and his wife, that's me!) a cruise to Hawaii.  Can you believe that?  Don't know all the particulars yet, but thought I'd better find out how you all think an AN patient with minor balance issues will fare on a large ship all the way to Hawaii.  Never thought I'd get back to Hawaii, and never thought I'd be on a cruise ship again.  Wow.  Hope I don't heave ho all the way to the Islands!
