ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Reminds me of our summer place in the Upper Peninsula (Michigan). Such solitude.....Great place to heal. Glad you are doing so well. By the way........about the glass of wine and steroids...moderation is the key as both the alcohol and the steroids are metabolized by the liver.

So true!

That is awesome, Nancy!  Great for the pre-posties (and some posties, too) to see life after treatment...and so soon, too!

Since so many of you are fishermen and women on this site . . .  explain this, please.  For the second time in a year, we saw a large bass swimming upside down, not in good form, mind you, but managing to maneuver around slowly.  Is this part of the dying process?  It seemed rather bloated around the middle (I could relate yesterday, but thanks to Miralax, there will be room for the apple dumpling tomorrow!).
Also viewed . . . Great Blue heron, merganzer, and painted turtle on our little paddle.
Jo, Not really Canada goose habitat here for some reason, too many mountains?  But we do have snapping turtles!  Watch your toes.

For a moment there when I read the subject line I thought you were going to say Disney World.

Kind of like a take off on that commercial "Nancy McDonald, you've just survived AN surgery and are doing incredibly.  What are you going to do next ??"   :D

Beautiful picture.  And very impressive that your balance is good enough to keep the boat upright!

Congrats!
