As we know, hearing is a complex sense. There isn't just the issue of volume, there is sound discrimination, sound localization, source determination and more.

There are tips and devices that may improve some of these issues for some patients. But what about the subtle emotional cues in speech? Could those with hearing loss be missing more than content?
