VIRTUAL ANA SUPPORT GROUP
Self-Care and Support for AN Caregivers: A Discussion With ANA Volunteer and Caregiver Sara Wasserman
Please plan to join us for this virtual support group meeting opportunity. Space is limited, sign up now.
Our discussion will focus on the issues specific to AN caregivers. Sara is an ANA Peer Mentor since 2014 and sister to a post-treatment patient who had surgery in 2013. While serving in these capacities, she has had the opportunity to interact with many AN patients and caregivers over the years. She understands the unique challenges specific to acoustic neuroma and can describe her caregiving experiences with you. If you want to network with others who have similar experiences, this meeting is for you. Bring your questions and join us for information and support.
Family members, caregivers, friends and interested persons are welcome to attend. Virtual meetings provide a nurturing, non-judgmental environment with individuals who have shared acoustic neuroma experiences along with educational opportunities, emotional support and encouragement throughout all stages of the AN journey.
The meeting will be facilitated by Sara Wasserman, caregiver to an acoustic neuroma post-treatment patient and Melanie Hutchins, ANA Manager of Volunteer Programs.
