TOPIC:
Our Stories, presented by Christine and Gaby Abraham. Christine had surgery for a large acoustic neuroma and will share her story of recovery and post-treatment issues. Christine’s daughter, Gaby, was in kindergarten at the time of her lengthy surgery and is now in high school. Gaby will share her perspective regarding the diagnosis and treatment of her mom’s AN and how it affected her at such a young age. Through adversity, their message is one of advocacy, strength, endurance and encouragement.
Caring, Sharing, Networking and Support
Family members, caregivers, friends, and interested persons are welcome to attend. Group meetings provide a nurturing, non-judgmental environment with individuals who have shared acoustic neuroma experiences along with educational opportunities and emotional support and encouragement throughout all stages of the AN journey.
The meeting will be facilitated by Leah Keith and Kimberly Ary, post-treatment acoustic neuroma patients.
