Struggling With Depression or Anxiety? Here's What You Need to Know 

Acoustic neuroma patients sometimes experience depression or anxiety related to their circumstances. It could be anxiety about a symptom that is difficult to manage, like tinnitus or dizziness - thoughts like, "when will it happen?" or "will it ever go away?" can be distressing.

Sometimes Patients Simply Need Other Patients

One of the primary focuses of ANA is offering support to patients, both newly diagnosed and those that are post-treatment. We do that in a number of ways, from support groups and our online discussion forum to our Peer Mentor program of patients that are willing to talk about their experiences.
