Facial paralysis is often one of the biggest fears of patients considering AN treatment.  Doctors have become much more adept at preserving the facial nerve to avoid unwanted outcomes, but there are cases where the facial nerve is affected and movement is compromised.

Tinnitus is defined as the perception of noise or ringing in the ears. It is not considered to be a condition by itself, but rather a symptom of an underlying condition, usually some type of hearing loss.  There is no cure and there are different levels of severity.  This article talks about how similar sounds can make tinnitus flare up.
