PROSE Scleral Lens - An Option for Damaged Cornea or Ocular Surface and Dry Eye

The PROSE prosthetic device creates a new smooth surface over damaged cornea or ocular surface and dry eye.

PROSE devices are FDA-cleared, transparent domes, about the size of a nickel, made of gas-permeable plastic that allows oxygen to reach the surface of your eye. The devices rest on the sclera – the white part of your eye – and vault over the cornea to create a smooth surface over the distorted, damaged, or diseased cornea. They are filled with fresh, sterile, preservative-free saline each day at the time of application and are removed at bedtime.

Family members, caregivers, friends, and interested persons are welcome to attend. Group meetings provide a nurturing, non-judgmental environment with individuals who have shared acoustic neuroma experiences, along with educational opportunities, emotional support, and encouragement throughout all stages of the AN journey.  

The meeting will be facilitated by Leah Keith and Kimberly Ary, post-treatment acoustic neuroma patients.
