About this Program

The Peer Mentor Program brings the AN community together, providing needed support and opportunities to help one another through personal connections and shared experiences.

Peer Mentors are vetted ANA volunteers. They are acoustic neuroma patients and family members/caregivers who are willing to talk about their acoustic neuroma experience(s). Connecting with a mentor provides the opportunity to ask questions and receive information, encouragement and support from someone who is uniquely familiar with the acoustic neuroma experience. Our trained volunteer mentors share their experiences with diagnosis, treatment, post-treatment care and managing ongoing issues. 

Getting Started -  How to Use the Peer Mentor List

Peer Mentor volunteers are located across the U.S. and represent a wide range of experiences representing all treatment types, a variety of tumor sizes and talking points on many acoustic neuroma related treatment issues. This list provides detailed information about each volunteer to help you select peer(s) based on your individual needs and situation.

Peer Mentors marked with an asterisk are also Support Group Leaders.
